Lecturers (to be completed) > Wesley FLANNERY (ISEP)

Dr. Wesley Flannery is a Lecturer in the School of Natural and Built Environment and Institute of Environmental and Spatial Planning (ISEP) at Queen's University, Belfast.  He is a visiting lecturer at the Department of Geography, National University of Ireland, Galway. His key research interests are in marine spatial planning (MSP), integrated coastal zone planning, stakeholder participation in environmental decision-making, public attitudes and behaviours towards the environment and planning for environmental risk management. In terms of MSP, his recent work interrogates MSP from a post-political perspective, examines who has been excluded from MSP and how, and argues the radical potential of MSP needs to be recaptured.  He is also an editor at the ICES Journal of Marine Science.
